Homeless Legacy: Chapter One: Our Founder

After spending every last simoleon to her name at the blackjack tables, Adriane thought it might be best to leave Lucky Palms for a while. Moving from the fast action of the casino, Adriane sought out a quieter place . She overheard a couple of tourists talking about place called Sunset Valley. Without much hesitation, Adriane Vagabond decided to hitchhike her way to this quaint little town.

Adriane thought that her sleight of hand tricks that she picked up at Lucky Palms might serve her well as a magician. She had no money for a taxi and so Adriane is forced to walk to the library so that she may start her career.

Adriane managed to get to the library in just under 4 hours. Soon after accepting the position as a starting magician she chooses to go by the stage name Matilda Wonderbar.

She was eager to start practicing but shortly realized that the library is not the most appropriate place to start.

"Are you kidding me? I have to get out and show this place what I can do!"

The residents of Sunset Valley had mixed emotions of this strange woman from Lucky Palms.

Too fatigued to run all the way back to the forest, Adriane decided to risk napping outside of the theatre. Adriane figured there wouldn’t be that many sims roaming around at midnight anyway.

It is difficult to keep her needs up at first but Adriane is happy to get whatever scraps are around. However, some are still less than thrilled of Adriane’s arrival.

The Altos were bemused at Adriane. Questioning themselves whether to pity or encourage Adriane, Vera decided to do both.

Adriane was too tired to perform and decided that the park might be a better place to sleep than the theater today.

Somehow Adriane has already adjusted to being sleep deprived, starving, and smelly. She manages to enjoy some of the summer festivities that Sunset Valley had to offer. Yellow snow cones, for example.
